  • Let´s start

We will work on the floor, so we’ll have it everything at hand, for the assembly we need, screwdrivers STARTS and FLAT, and thermal putty.

  • Mounting the processor and cooler.

The mounting for the processor and cooler is the most delicate to mount for a PC.
We put the processor in its slot, the number of holes which the slot has determinate the type of proccesor, and it can be INTEL o AMD
We take the processor and the cooler out of the box.
Once the socket has been put into the processor, close the plug and putty put on top of the processor.

  • Mount the motherboard

We dismount both sides of the motherboard to acces into it, and we must take out the back side too in order to give support to devices′s input and output, it is used to being a very thin iron plate and we must be careful because it can be harmful.

There are many types of motherboards in my case isa mATX.

  • To mount the memory's, RAM.

RAM is a volatile memory, meaning that only works by storing information when the PC is switched on.

There are much models of RAM, this example, DDR, DDR2, DDR3 the most modern. In my case, my PC uses this DDR2, slots of 2 GB, in all 4G of RAM.

The assembly of RAM is simple, we introduce the RAM in the sense that the pins fit into the slot, pressing until you hear  a CLACK

  • Mount the graphics card

The graphics card is the basic component of a PC, is an image processor and is able to show everythingthat happens on a PC.

In my case, I used this Graphic Card nVIDIA PALIT 9800 GT, of 1 GB RAM DDR3.

In the slot to be installed is call a graphics card PCIex16, which is the largest.

Once introduced the graphics card, must be screwed outside to lock it and there is not problem

  • Mounting the Hard disk and Driver’s.

Hard disks are not volatile, and your although this information is still switched off  the PC.
There are many types of Hard disk, IDE or SATA, nowadays the SATA is used because it moves more files and very fast.
In my case I have one hard disk, the position of configuration is MASTER.

  • Connecting cable.

To start with identify the cables type, SATA, date cables for USB of the PC.

Installation is easy, simply plug in the correct position with the component cable

There are installations more difficult than are those of the LEDs, but I will not go into that topic because it is something more complex.

After to connect all the cables to the motherboard must be connected the power supply to work the components.

  • Starting up the Operating System.

When we start up the system, we are shown a blue screen and available options: It is the BIOS, it can configure settings for our PC, then if we have a SO installed, we ripped the system we have installed..
